However, North Port is Considering a Ban on Gasoline Powered Boats in City Waters

The City of North Port has two main concerns on this topic. Noise and the result gasoline engines on boats, can have on the environment.

Discussions about possible changes on boats within North Port waterways, is in the initial phase of discussion with city staff. This topic will be making it's way to a North Port City Commission meeting sometime in the near future.
