A New Traffic Light is Coming to US 41 & 7th St St. West in Palmetto
Directly across from the Manatee Convention Center in Palmetto, is the intersection of U.S. 41 and 7th Street West in Palmetto. It is a Frequent location for incidents.
The Florida Department of Transportation has announced their plan to install a traffic light at this intersection, however no construction timeline has been announced yet.
FDOT says a new traffic light will replace of the blinking light, that is there now...
Not only could this new traffic light help reduce traffic incidents at this location. there is a Hotel currently be built, next to the Manatee Convention Center, which will also increase traffic volume, in this area.
