December was another Record Month for Bradenton-Sarasota home prices
Manatee and Sarasota County is the place to be... Money and Home and Condo sales continue to prove that. The prices for existing single-family homes in Manatee County, set another record in December 2021 with a median price of $460,000. That December 2021 price was 28.5% higher than in the same month a year ago, when that median number was $357,900. Prices for Manatee County townhouses and condos hit $302,965 in December 2021, which was an increase of 26.8% from the median number of $239,000 a year ago.
In Sarasota County, the median sale price for existing single-family homes went up by 24.5% to $435,788, the median price number for condos and townhouses was up 30% to $360,000.
Also proving that Manatee and Sarasota county is a hot place to live, is that 100% of homes sold in Manatee and Sarasota Counties during 2021 went for at, or above the original list price.
In terms of numbers, in 2021, the median sales price for single-family homes was $420,000 in Manatee and $395,945 in Sarasota.
Cash was king in 2021, accounting for 57.3 percent of all single-family home sales, through the two counties during the year. In terms of all condo sales in the two counties, 40.2% were closed with cash offers,
