Cost of Rent Increases in Bradenton and Sarasota, Among Fastest in Nation
According to NEW data from Apartment List.com, Bradenton and Sarasota fall within the top five fastest increasing areas with rising rent costs... when looking at annual rent growth (since Oct. 2020)

The online company tracks the change in the price of apartment properties in cities across the country that use the website to list units.
Bradenton came in at the second-fastest rent growth in the nation with a 47% year-over-year increase, which means rents in October were almost 50% more expensive than the same time last year.
Sarasota's rent growth came in fifth among all areas in the country at 41.5%.
The median rent for both counties in October was just over $1,850 for an apartment, among the highest in Florida.
A one-bedroom apartment in Sarasota had a median cost of $1,460, and a two-bedroom unit's median cost was $2,000.
In Bradenton, a one-bedroom apartment had a median price of $1,618, while a two-bedroom rented for a median of $1,870.
