CareerSource Suncoast Announces 9th Annual Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Event

CareerSource Suncoast is proud to announce Paychecks for Patriots in a partnership with The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee and State College of Florida.

This special statewide hiring fair is a partnership between the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida National Guard, the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs, participating Florida employers and CareerSource Florida regions throughout the state to connect veterans with career opportunities, to continue Governor DeSantis’ mission is to be the most veteran-friendly state in the nation.

They are Open to the public and FREE to attend.

This year, 3 different events in the CareerSource Suncoast region within Manatee and Sarasota Counties, will take place:

Monday, Nov. 15th, 3-7 p.m. SCF Bradenton Campus, 5840 26th St W - Bradenton, FL

Tuesday, Nov. 16th, 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., USF Sarasota/Manatee Campus, 8350 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL

and

Saturday, Nov. 20th, 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. SCF Venice Campus. 8000 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL

There is great line up of employers. There are literally hundreds of jobs available in multiple industries and careers.

Over the past 8 years, more than 6,756 veteran candidates and military family members have participated in Paychecks for Patriots events.

Veterans and their families bring dedication, a special set of skills and diversity to Florida’s workforce. CareerSource Suncoast is excited to serve those who have served our country. Through Paychecks for Patriots, companies will be connected with talented, well-trained veterans to join their team.

Veterans in attendance will have the opportunity to connect with a wide range of employers at Paychecks for Patriots.
