7-year-old Florida Boy Caught a Bass, Then Lost His Fish and Pole to Gator

From the "Only in Florida" file... Sean McMahon posted a video to Facebook showing the wild time when he and his son, Dawson, had while they were fishing behind their Palm Coast, Florida home.

In the amazing video, it shows Sean encouraging his son as he is battling with a large bass on his fishing pole.

In his Dad's video, you can hear Dawson say... "He's a fighter,"

As Dawson gets the fish in and drags him onto the banks of the pond... an alligator suddenly darts out of the water and grabs the fish in its jaws.

Then.... Dawson drops his pole and runs from the gator, which the quickly darts back into the water -- taking both Dawson's the fish and his fishing pole, back into the lake.
