A Tentative Deal is in Place to Widen Moccasin Wallow Road in Parrish, by Next Year
Neal Land & Neighborhoods, says that there is a tentative agreement between the developer and Manatee County government to widen Moccasin Wallow Road from its intersection with U.S. 301 west to 115th Street, just past Barbara A. Harvey Elementary School.
The widening agreement with the county is still preliminary.
If the plan continues to move along… the hope is that by next summer, the road could be widened.
As part of the construction project… The Florida Department of Transportation is planning a roundabout at the intersection of U.S. 301 and Moccasin Wallow.
The FDOT is now working to provide more information on those roundabout plans.
Manatee County is working on permits now and wants to initiate construction by the end of this year, at the latest.
