Florida Man Arrested for Doing Donuts in a Naples Parking Lot
Saturday (6/26/21), deputies arrested a man for doing donuts in the parking lot of the Charlemagne Plaza off Rattlesnake Hammock Road.
Collier County Sheriff’s Deputies were out patrolling when they saw 39-year-old Julio Angel Alvarado doing donuts in the parking lot.
There is no mugshot for him because he is either currently, or at one time, in the Air Force. Those mugshots are protected under Florida law.
Alvarado tried explaining himself to deputies – He told them he was doing donuts for a Facebook video.
That’s when deputies noticed his bloodshot eyes and the alcohol smell coming from his breath.
Once at the jail, he blew a .211 BAC, which is nearly three times the legal limit of .08 BAC.
Deputies arrested Alvarado on DUI charges. He’ll appear in court on July 22.
