The White Buffalo Saloon in Sarasota Announces it's Closing this Month
The White Buffalo building and the land will be purchased by Calusa Brewing. The White Buffalo Saloon will be looking for other possible other locations.
It has been a wonderful partnership for our 92.1 & 103.1 CTQ Radio family. Through the last 8 years our CTQ listeners have been given a chance to see some amazing country music artists. From Montgomery Gentry (which we will always cherish), as it was the last Sarasota & Manatee County performance for Troy Gentry)... to numerous other fantastic musical experiences, many from up and coming younger artists that have gone on to great success in the country music world.
The White Buffalo Saloon's last day of business at its 5377 McIntosh Road location in Sarasota, will be on Saturday, June 19th.

Owner Mike Evanoff confirmed they club was closing and says they are looking at other locations to reopen The White Buffalo Saloon.
Mr. Evanoff wanted to let our CTQ listeners know. he appreciated their support and business over the years... “We want to say thank you to all our customers and all of our staff through the years, It’s been great.”
If you were not aware, The White Buffalo Saloon is part of the Sarasota and Manatee county Evie’s restaurant group that is operated by the father-and-son team of Steve and Mike Evanoff.
Their group owns and operates several local establishments including: Evie's Tavern & Grill on Main St. in Sarasota, the Spanish Point Tiki Bar and new The Point which both overlook Sarasota Bay in Osprey. The former 5 O'Clock club, which is now Brady's Neighborhood Bar near Downtown Sarasota and Evie's on the Green on Bee Ridge Rd. in Sarasota.
92.1 & 103.1 CTQ Is proud to have been a part of some amazing shows at The White Buffalo Saloon Some of the artists who performed there, over the years include...Carly Pearce and Jimmie Allen. In fact Jimmy Allen and Carly Pearce both have won country music awards this year. Jimmie wining New Male Artist and Carly winning Single of the Year ... both at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards.
