Arkansas Little League Pitcher Reunites with His Military Dad on the Field
In Cabot, Arkansas, little league pitcher Jett Morris stepped onto the field and threw out the first pitch.
Little did he know that the person wearing the catcher’s mask was actually his dad, Joe, who had been overseas with the Navy for a whole year.
After the pitch, Joe took off the mask, revealing his identity, much to the delight of Jett and the rest of the family.
Jett, of course, was very excited. Jett’s sisters -- Alexa and Saylor -- as well as his mom, Melissa, then joined him in running to home plate for a family hug, making it the most memorable ballgame the family had ever been a part of.
