The 'Parade of Champions' is moving to June 2nd.The former Mayor and the organizer of the event John Holic says the Venice High School Parade of Champions is being moved from May 26 to June 2nd,, to ensure all of the Venice school state champions can participate.
The parade will start at 1 p.m. at Venice High School and end at Centennial Park on Wednesday, June 2nd.
The City of Venice is just starting to allow larger special events. The Parade will be the first such event in Venice, since the pandemic began.
The first private and business type of event will be the 28th Annual Downtown Crafts Festival. That is scheduled for June 19th & June 20th. It is organized by Howard Alan Events.
Downtown Venice is such an amazing area for dining, shopping, relaxing and entertainment.
