American Idol contestant from Lakewood Ranch Alana Sherman hopes to get to Top 16 This Weekend on the Show
Alana Sherman, is a 22-year-old resident of Lakewood Ranch, she is currently a Top 24 contestant. Last weekend she sang a duet with star Brian McKnight, on the song. “Back at One.”
Fan voting for American Idol’s Top 16 ended this past Monday (4/5/21).
The Top 16 will be revealed on American Idol at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 11th, on ABC-TV
Alana is a food delivery driver, she is also the daughter of NFL wide receiver coach Ray Sherman.
Alana Sherman attended Out-of-Door Academy in Lakewood Ranch and also Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, where she played tennis and volleyball.
