Pinellas County Family Find Alligator "Chilling" on Their Lanai

Pinellas County Family Find Alligator "Chilling" on Their Lanai

It was an interesting morning, this past Friday (3/26/21) for Tim Kelly, in East Lake, Florida as he woke up to an uninvited guest on his lanai

When he started his morning routine, Tim heard some growling while getting his morning cup of coffee. He turned around to see a massive alligator -- between 7 and 9 feet -- on the lanai of his Pinellas County home.

What was even more surprising was that the alligator, seemed to be stuck under a table.

He immediately called the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

While Tim was waiting for FWC to arrive, the gator freed him self from the table and apparently decided to leave the comfort of the outdoor carpet and couch and decided to go for a swim in Kelly’s pool.

If this type of thing every happens to you or someone you know. There is help.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

They ask People concerned about an alligator to call their toll-free Nuisance Alligator Hotline at 866-FWC-GATOR (866-392-4286).
