Publix & CVS are Both Now Offering Vaccines to School Employees Regardless of Age
CVS made this announcement earlier this week. Yesterday (3/4/21) Publix Pharmacy also announced that they will be offering vaccines to all educators within the State of Florida, no matter their age group.
CVS, at this time is only operating one location in Bradenton, in our Sarasota and Manatee County area. CVS says all educators, regardless of age, can schedule an appointment.
Publix is now allowing all Florida K-12 and child care teachers and personnel to make an appointment at a Publix Pharmacy.
Currently, The Publix online reservation system is open at 7am on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. In addition to the eligible school employee individuals, those 65 and older and all first responders 50 and older, are now able to schedule appointments.
Patience is needed, as online appointments do go quickly. As my Mom and I know... lol
