No Smartphone or App? Now You Can Call for a "Lyft" Ride in Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice & North Port
This new program and service is designed to be used by seniors and those without access to the Lyft app, the service allows users to call and book a ride with a Lyft agent. Usually a car will arrive in minutes.
You read that right. Call a Lyft Ride, is a special service that lets users request a ride by phone — no smartphone or no app is required. This new service has launched in cities all across Florida,,including in Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice & North Port.
Riders or their loved ones can call (631) 201-LYFT using a cell phone to book a ride. Agents are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Throughout the process, Lyft will text riders important information about the ride and include a link to track it once it’s booked.
A final price is provided upfront and paid by debit or credit card over the phone.
