Florida Man Arrested After Having Meltdown Over Lack Of Lettuce
Henry Arce-Cabellero, 49, has been hit with misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct in an establishment as well as resisting an officer without violence, for the incident late Wednesday when he hit the windows of a Tampa Bay-area Checkers restaurant in Largo.
A Florida man was arrested last week after allegedly suffering a lettuce-related meltdown, The Smoking Gun reported
A criminal complaint states that the man was “yelling and screaming” at employees — who then had “fear for their safety” — because, as authorities say, “he was upset that the store had no more lettuce for their sandwiches.”
Cops arrived to the scene around 11:30 p.m. to find Arce-Cabellero in his car, denying the allegations and refusing to identify himself.
The responding police officer said Arce-Cabellero, who was removed from his car, “was uncooperative.”
Arce-Cabellero has since been released from county jail on his own recognizance.
