Maryland Police Officer Stops to Provide an Act of Kindness & Love
Numerous citizens sent photos to the St. Mary's County (Maryland) Sheriff's Office after witnessing an officer's act of kindness.
Cpl. Gray Maloy spotted a man in a wheelchair who wanted to cross a road in Mechanicsville, MD. And was having trouble.
Maloy pulled over, stopping traffic on the busy roadway with his police cruiser. He then got out and helped push the man's wheelchair across the road, and then on to his final destination.
Several motorists snapped photos of Maloy's act of kindness and sent them to the sheriff's office.

On October 5, 2020, Cpl. Maloy stopped traffic on Golden Beach Road in Mechanicsville, to assist an individual in a wheelchair that was attempting to cross Golden Beach Road. Cpl. Maloy assisted the individual safely across the roadway and then continued to push him to his destination.
