Manatee County Small Business, Non-Profit, and Housing Assistance Grants
Manatee County has announced the next rounds of CARES Act grant applications will begin to open up next week. Manatee County will distribute up to $70 million in CARES Act funding to help our community cope with the financial impact of the pandemic and position us for recovery.
- Small Business Grants – Round 3 opens on Wednesday, October 21 - Small businesses in Manatee County may apply for grants of up to $5,000 to cover expenses related to PPE and other health and safety procedures necessary to reopen and/or operate safely. They may also apply for up to $45,000 to reimburse documented business losses brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligibility includes businesses that were able to access PPP and EIDL loans or grants and also includes home-based businesses.
·Non-Profit and Community Organization Grants -- Round 3 opens on Monday, October 19
·Housing Assistance Grants-- Round 4 opens on Wednesday, October 28

Sarasota County Small Business, Non-Profit, and Individual Assistance Grants
Sarasota County is accepting applications for its CARES Act grant programs. Assistance is available for Sarasota County businesses, non-profits, and individuals.

Chamber Webinar: PPP/EIDL/CARES Act Assistance Programs | Tuesday, October 27
With federal and local relief disbursed to approved borrowers and applicants, now is the time to plan for PPP Forgiveness, ensure EIDL expenditures are allowable, or apply for reimbursement of Manatee CARES expenses.
