Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Now Hiring Nurses for New Fruitville Road Emergency Department Location
Are you or someone you know looking for a nursing job? Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC )is now hiring full-time and per diem nurses for its new freestanding emergency department on Fruitville Road in Sarasota, which will open on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020.
New employees will join more than 600 employees at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, which offers healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits to help meet the needs of employees and their families.

About the new location:
ER at Fruitville, an Extension of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, will be a full-service emergency department that provides emergency care to those in need 24/7. It will be located on the east side of Interstate 75 at 6760 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34240.
The new ER will feature:
- 10,873 square feet
- Full-service laboratory, X-ray, CT, ultrasound
- 24/7 emergency care
The ER will be continuously staffed by a physician and will accept ambulances. The ER will be capable of treating all major conditions that present to an emergency room. Patients needing further treatment will be transferred to Lakewood Ranch Medical Center or another hospital of their choice.
