Two Popular Suncoast Events have already been cancelled for 2021.
The 2021 Bradenton Area River Regatta & 2021 Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival have both been cancelled and both are postponed until 2022
The annual Bradenton Area River Regatta will not be happening in 2021 due to COVID-19. Festival organizers will welcome back crowds in 2022.
The event, usually occurs in February, features several popular items from race boats, fireworks and free fun for the entire family.
Another popular event on the Suncoast held each February, also announced yesterday they were canceled for 2021 . The 2021 Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival, will not happen. The very popular two-day event has been held in February every year since 1981. Organizers said that they would “see everyone in 2022."
