Regal Movie Theaters in Bradenton & Sarasota Closing due to COVID-19
The Cinema chain, Cineworld said yesterday (10/4/20) it is considering closing all its movie theaters in the United States AND Great Britain, after the postponement of the new James Bond film left a big hole in schedules.
Cineworld Group PLC owns 543 Regal cinemas in the U.S. — including Regal Oakmont on Cortez Road in Bradenton and Regal Hollywood in downtown Sarasota — and 128 Cineworld venues in the U.K. and Ireland.
Move-goers along the Suncoast already had the Cine-Bistro, combo movie and dining experience close earlier this year, due to COVID-19.
