Wow! October Has Two Full Moons, Tonight and on Halloween Night!
Go figure, it's 2020... The month of October begins tonight with an October 1st, Full Moon. The Harvest Moon, as it's known,. That's the name given to the full moon that is closest to the autumnal equinox — the beginning of fall — which this year fell on September 22nd, this year.
The Harvest Moon is different from other full moons because it rises at roughly the same time for several nights running, giving more light.
And yes... October 2020 will see a second full moon (which known as a Blue Moon, two Full Moons, in one Month) on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31st.
Also... Check this out... Sunday, November 1st... we, "Fall Back", with the "The End of Daylight Saving Time"... Meaning we will also be changing clocks during a Full Moon on Halloween Night! Whoa...
