Manatee & Sarasota County Schools to Provide Free Meals for All Children Through December 31, 2020
This includes children who are not currently enrolled in Manatee or Sarasota County Schools.
Manatee & Sarasota County Schools have just announced that, thanks to a program extension from the USDA, both school districts will now feed all children 18 years and younger for free through December 31, 2020, including children not currently enrolled in Manatee and Sarasota County Schools.
All children 18 years or younger will be provided free breakfast and lunch; meal menus and procedures will look the same for both in-person and remote learners. For in-person learners, à la cart items will be charged to the student account.
Manatee County
In Manatee County, Students who are not attending school in person, can pick up Meals on Monday’s, at the public school closest to them. Those on a hybrid schedule, can pick it up on one of their in-person days. Any questions can be answered at www.ManateeSchoolFood.net or by calling: (941) 739-5700.
Sarasota County

In terms of the online food ordering process... You do it through the "MySchoolBucks" page before 5 p.m. every Thursday; students who do not have a MySchoolBucks account will need to create one.
For those, not in school... Students do not need to be in the vehicle to pick up their meals;
however a valid student ID is required (state-issued ID, birth certificate, student ID or a copy of student report card).
Meals will be picked up on Tuesdays, for specific times, confirm your location’s pick up time.
