Boys and Girls Clubs on Suncoast Offering Remote Learning Help for Parents
Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County and Manatee County wants to help parents and kids, as they go forward with remote learning.
The Remote Learning Support program was created to help parents who aren’t ready to send their child back to school just yet due to safety concerns, or simply are not able to stay at home with their child due to work schedules.
Remote Learning has some concerned about their child’s ability to achieve and succeed in this new virtual learning world.
Another barrier for some. No or unreliable Internet or access, or a lack of technology to support remote learning.
Boys and Girls Clubs of the Suncoast saw a need for the program because many so families have been affected by the pandemic financially and simply can’t stay home to help their children with e-learning.
This Rermote Learning Program program will help families with distance learning, throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
The program is free for families who qualify. There will be a small weekly fee for others, who would like to use this program. .
