Debi Blaney found her beloved Finn, in an Alexandria, VA dog shelter, several years ago.
Last month however, the Washington, D.C., woman lost her best friend Finn, while in her neighborhood woods as she was taking him for a walk.
As we all deal with the coronavirus, social distancing, Finn has always been there for her. As she walked the area looking and searching for Finn. As she did that, Debi was also able to ask other neighbors out walking their dogs, if they had seen Finn. Unfortunately though... No one had see Finn. He was gone... and Debi was distraught.
Debi needed to get him back, so, she reached out to all of her neighbors and she also put up signs, as she searched for Finn.
News of Finn’s disappearance spread. It didn't take long for the entire neighborhood, with dozens of people on a mission to find Finn. Even an entire class of second graders, joined the search.
And.....
It all paid off. After five days, someone found Finn. He was located two miles from home and he was reunited with Debi.
Though there were 5 sleepless nights during his time missing, Finn wound up bringing the entire neighborhood together during these complicated times.
Debi could not be more grateful, for all the love and Kindness shown to her and Finn.
