The newly rebuilt Anna Maria City Pier will reopen this Friday, June 19th at 8 a.m.
As it re-opens, access will be limited to start. The Pier will be open only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
For the time being, the pier will remain closed Monday through Thursday and signs will be posted at and all around the pier reminding everyone of the limited visitation hours.
The new pier was built to replace the old pier, which opened in 1911 but was closed after it was damaged by Hurricane Irma, back in September 2017. The Construction began to replace the Pier in 2018.
