Bradenton Man Wins $1 Million In Florida Lottery

Marco Moschini a 55 year old man from Bradenton played the "Fastest Road To $1 Million" Scratch-Off game, which is a $30 game. This scratch off game was launched in February 2020 and it has 155 top prizes of $1 million and it also has a total of $948 million in prize money.

Due to COVID-19 Lotto offices are currently closed. So, Mr. Moschini brought his winning ticket to the Florida Lottery's "secure drop box" at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. This is option is open to all eligible winning tickets, since the Florida Lottery offices reamain closed from the coronavirus shutdown.

From the Florida Lottery: "To help protect employees and players during the COVID-19 outbreak, Florida Lottery headquarters and district offices remain closed to the public until further notice," according to a lottery spokesperson. "Players who have winning tickets are encouraged to utilize the lottery's secured drop box located at each district office or mail tickets to Florida Lottery Headquarters or their nearest district office."

Mr. Moschini opted to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $790,000.

He purchased his ticket at the Lakewood Ranch Mobil, which is at 6290 Lake Osprey Drive in Sarasota. The Mobil station will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

In terms of redeeming your winning ticket, due to COVID-19, All claim deadlines have been extended by 90 days to give players the option of holding their winning tickets until lottery offices reopen to the public.
