Dad's Dying Wish, For Sting to Have His Painting, Sting's Daughter Did It

One of Domingo Santiago's dying wishes was for someone to deliver his portrait of Sting to the musician himself. Well magically... his dream, caught the attention of Sting's daughter, Mickey Sumner.

Elizabeth Santiago shared her story of being raised by her stepfather and his dying wish for his painting.

Her Dad, Domingo Santiago, a police officer for 20 years, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998.

Multiple sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system that affects a person’s brain and spinal cord. Almost 1 million people live with MS in the U.S., according to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

After connecting with String's daughter, Elizabeth Santiago created a fundraiser with Sumner to bring in donations to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. That effort has brought in more than $40,000, in the fight against MS.

Domingo Santiago had "dreamed of being an artist" and built a small art studio behind HIS home while working as a police officer.

Dreams do come true... Thank you for your service Mr. Santiago...

... and Thank You Elizabeth and Mickey for bringing your Dad's together.
