Myakka City's - Dakin Dairy Farms, currently has an over supply of local fresh milk.
They want to help families in need. Without limiting any supplies, they are providing gallons of milk at a discounted price to families across the Suncoast for two and a half dollars. .
Last Friday (4/10/20), the farm donated over 100 gallons of milk to Meals-On-Wheels Plus of Manatee County.
What Dakin Dairy is offering, from their website:

- Although Tours are Cancelled... The Market & Cafe are Open
- Due to the current health guidelines Dakin Dairy Farm will not be offering tours and will be closed on Saturday’s until further notice.
- Dakin Dairy Farm Market will be open Monday –Friday 9:00 to 5:00 AND Saturday 10AM - 2PM to purchase milk, ice cream and shakes. We will be glad to bring your purchase to your vehicle.
- Dakin Dairy Farm Café will be open Monday – Friday 9:00 to 2:00.
- Due to half capacity guidelines we can accommodate up to 20 people in our dining room. Please call ahead for availability.
