Publix Supermarkets is asking all of their customers to shop as they normally would and not to hoard items.
Publix said in a press release that its warehouses and distribution centers are working around the clock to get products to its stores and shelves restocked while conducting preventive cleaning measures to keep customers safe.
They are also asking customers not to arrive early and wait in line for stores to open. Publix says that deliveries are made throughout each day and that arriving early doesn't guarantee the availability of a product.
Publix reminds everyone that they have temporarily adjusted store hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
They have also started offering senior shopping hours for customers 65 and up. Seniors can shop Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Publix Pharmacy will also be open during that time.
