2 Local Ice Cream Shops Offer Free Ice Cream For Kids Who Can Recite Pledge
July is National Ice Cream Month and a time of the year when we celebrate the birth of our nation.
To celebrate these two together, hundreds of ice cream shops across the United States are offering free ice cream to kids… if they can recite the Pledge of Allegiance by memory, including one in Bradenton and 1 in Venice..
The “I Pledge Project” is a nationwide incentive to get kids to show off their skills of memorizing the Pledge of Allegiance. Kids will then be rewarded with some free ice cream!
Bradentown Scoops, located at 904 Manatee Avenue East, and Scoops Venice Ice Cream - 1846 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293 are 2 of the participating shops in the project, alongside 12 other Florida locations.
