Two of Florida's premier programs clash in the 4S state title game.
Venice has never lost in a state championship game, bringing home gold in 2000, 2017 and 2021.
The Indians can win back-to-back titles for the first time in school history. The team is peaking in the postseason, averaging over 50 points/game in four playoff wins and scoring at least 35 points each week.
Lakeland takes aim at their eighth state championship. Bill Castle, who became Florida's all-time winningest football coach this season, could win a state title for the fifth straight decade (1986, 1996, 1999, 2004-06 & 2018).
