Sarasota National Cemetery Short on Donations - May Not Have Wreaths for All, this Year at Annual Wreath Laying Event.

It Appears as though Half of our 28,000 Local Heroes Resting at our Sarasota National Cemetery, will have NOT have a Wreath placed on their headstone this December, when the Annual Wreath Laying Occurs. These Wreaths are ALL funded by Local Donations, Which are Falling Short this year.

As we approach the Holidays, let us all remember to give thanks to the Men and Women who have sacrificed so much to assure we have and continue to have the freedoms our founding forefathers strived for.

Please remember as you are making your "Holiday Shopping Lists" that we have over 28,000 Veterans interred at Sarasota National Cemetery who shall never be forgotten.

Sponsoring a Veteran's Wreath is only $15. For every two wreaths sponsored through this site, a 3rd wreath will be donated and shipped to our Cemetery, allowing us to ensure that EVERY Monument and Niche receives a Veterans Remembrance Wreath -
