Scooters Have Arrived for You to Ride and Use in Bradenton

Get started by Downloading the Bird app and create your account

The areas Bird will be popping up in are Barcarotta & Old Main; Barcarotta & 10th St W; 6th Ave W & 13th St W; 12th St W by the Clerk of the Court; 12th St W & Manatee Ave W; 10th St W & 4th Ave W; 10 St W & Manatee Ave W (just north of Manatee Ave); 13th St W & 6th Ave W; and LECOM Park (9th St W & 17th Ave W).)

Pricing rates are set by bird and vary by state and market. Generally, riders pay $1 to unlock the scooter and usage rates average between 15 and 30 cents a minute.

Find your ride nearby Open the Bird app and find the Bird corral closest to your location. If you want to ride just a bit later, you can use the app to reserve a scooter or bike up to 30 minutes in advance.

Start the fun! To start your ride, scan your vehicle’s QR code with your app to unlock the bike or scooter. Hit the throttle on the right to go and pull the brakes to slow.

Park with care The City of Bradenton is using virtual corrals so that a convenient parking space will always be nearby. Consult the BIRD app to find a designated parking spot nearby. Park your vehicle, take a photo and send it via the app, and charges will stop.
