Manatee & Sarasota Counties in Top 20 Most Dangerous for Pedestrians in USA
The Dangerous by Design 2022 study was just released.
The Manatee and Sarasota County area took the 19th spot on the list, of the most dangerous areas for pedestrians, in the entire USA.
You might be surprised to learn that. the Daytona Beach areas came in at the very top of the list, also interesting is that the Tampa Bay area came in at number four.
In fact. Florida cities claimed 7 of the top 20 deadliest places for pedestrians, which is why the Sunshine State is second worst state in the U.S, for pedestrians.
The most alarming data revealed is that no metro areas in the top 20 are improving.
All have gotten significantly more deadly for pedestrians.
