The FREE Bay Runner Trolley has been around for 3 months... and it is a huge success...
The City of Sarasota’s Parking and Mobility Manager Mark Lyons says… the Bay Runner, ridership remains high even after season.
So far, there have been 41,094 rides through May 2022.
The numbers look like this....
March 2022 - 14,267
April 2022 - 14,291
May 2022 - 12,536
May shows only a 14% drop on passengers... which is out of season.
Sarasota’s FREE Bay Runner Trolley, has stops that connect downtown Sarasota to St Armand's Circle and Lido Beach…
It runs from 8am- Midnight, 7 days a week…. And remember it’s FREE.
