Google Will Now Allow You to Scrub Personal Data From Search Results
Google is now allowing people to remove their personal data from search results. The company used to require special circumstances -- like identity theft -- to get your phone number, email address or physical address off of the system.
But they recently changed their policy -- and published a how-to blog post that shows the steps needed to get the job done.
Danielle Romain -- is Google’s “vice president of trust” -- and has said that that if you don’t see this feature on your device right now, it will be available in the coming months.
Here is the link from Google, which should show you how to Control Your On-line Presence.
