Florida Man Drives Car Up Telephone Pole in Tallahassee is Arrested for DUI
The incident happened this past weekend (May 14th, 02022) in the Florida State Capital. Video released by the City of Tallahassee Police Department via their Facebook page,,, shows a blue Mustang almost completely vertical up a telephone pole.
The City of Tallahassee Police Department posted this message about the incident on their Facebook page:
Have we ever mentioned that you shouldn’t drive under the influence?
Over the weekend, we made four DUI arrests. One of which was for the driver of this blue Mustang who traveled up a power pole (yes - we said “up a power pole”).
While we are thankful that everyone involved in this weekend’s incidents walked away unscathed, it is never okay to drive under the influence. Not only could you be featured on our social media like this guy, you could get arrested, physically harm yourself or others, or end someone’s life (including your own). Oh, and you could also end up wrecking your shiny new Mustang.
Moral of the story, #DriveSober.
