Home Pick Up Recycling in City of Bradenton Ending. Blue Bins Now to Be Used for Yard Waste

Home recycling is coming to an end in The City of Bradenton. The City is moving forward with a plan to end home recycling pickup and to convert those blue bins to yard waste collection ONLY.

Workers have begun removing the recycling signage from the blue cans and replacing that info with a yard waste decal.

As the city continues with the "new stickers" Bradenton residents will be allowed to use those bins for recycling materials until Friday, June 3rd, 2022.

Bradenton residents can also place yard waste, in the blue bins, as well as bundle yard waste or place it in a plastic bag along the street.

Starting Monday, June 6th , 2022 those blue bins in The City of Bradenton will be for yard waste only.

The city’s recycling program will continue, but residents will need to gather their materials and bring them to one of 10 collection centers throughout the city.

If you will no longer need the Blue Bin…you can give your blue bins back to the City of Bradenton.
