Manatee County Approves Roundabout on Creekwood Boulevard Near SR 70
A new Roundabout is one the way in Manteee County. Under the new plan, drivers will turn right out of Creekwood Crossings on 52nd Place East to use a traffic roundabout.
\There have often been complaints about the traffic created when people try to exit the Creekwood Crossing shopping center on to 52nd Place East, as they attempt to re-enter State Road 70.
Manatee County is moving forward with construction of a the new roundabout expected to begin January 2023 with completion scheduled for the following January, 2024.
County land acquisition is scheduled to be completed by late in the summer.
Manatee county says that staff members have been going to neighborhood meetings to present these new plans.
