Florida is Making Diapers Tax-Free Starting Later This Year
As pasty of Florida's newly approved State budget. It will make diapers a tax-free item, beginning with the start of the new budget on July 1, 2022.
This new legislation did not include adult incontinence products, an item some Florida lawmakers had pushed to include. As far as those products, they will try again in the next legislative session. to make those tax-free.
The state of Florida ended sales taxes on tampons and feminine hygiene products in 2017.
The $112 billion state budget was voted forward by both chambers and now heads to Gov. Ron DeSantis, who will sign it into law or potentially veto all or parts of it.
