Manatee & Sarasota Median Home Prices Set Another Record Now Close to $500k
January 2022 was a record-breaking month for home prices in Manatee & Sarasota Counties.
The media home price in Manatee County for single-family residential property came in at $480,000, a 29.7% increase from last January. Back then the median home price was $370,000,
The median home price for a single-family property in Sarasota County in January was $464,500, a 36.6% increase from January 2021.
Cash is also still king.... Home buyers paid cash in 498 single family home sales in January 2022, a 19.4% increase from last year.
These home sales also happen fast... The median time to contract for properties in Manatee & Sarasota counties remained a week or less.... as it has been since April 2021.
Condo & Townhome Sales
In Manatee County Condo and townhouse sales have also set a record with their new median price of $301,000 in January, 2022, a 30% increase from the $231,000 buyers paid a year earlier, in January 2021.
In Sarasota County, the median price for condos was up 15.8% to $350,000, compared to a year ago.
Cash is also king in condo sales... as more than half of all condo sales were all-cash deals.
