Sarasota County Needs to Fill Over a Hundred Current Job Openings

Sarasota County has about 106 open positions and is hosting a job fair on This Tuesday February 22nd  to help fill them. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sarasota Operations Center, located at 101 Sarasota Center Blvd, east of 75, just off Fruitville Road.

Sarasota County is holding the event, as it has struggled hire over the last several months.

Qualified candidates are able to complete the interview process at the fair and potentially leave with a conditional job offer,

Sarasota County has a variety of open positions, from its public utilities department, planning and development services, Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources, as well as Sarasota County Area Transit.

Sarasota County also offers very competitive benefits and has been able to keep health care premiums flat for three years.
