A waitress in Washington was hustling during a 13-hour shift at LongHorn Steakhouse when she forgot to bring one table a drink. Miranda says those customers were not happy with her mistake and “basically talked to me like I was a dog.”
While the server was trying to take care of them, a couple at the next table let Miranda know they heard the rude customers and that they appreciated her hard work. They left her a $15 tip and a note reading, “Just in case the table behind us didn’t leave a tip!” Miranda says their act of kindness “restored her faith in humanity.”
