- On Saturday in Long Island, a deer crashed through the front window of a Long Island (N.Y.) hair salon and leapt over the head of a customer sitting on a couch. According to the AP, the buck ran to the break room at the back of the shop, hit a mirror, then ran back outside with an iron caught in its antlers. Other than that, it didn't cause a whole lot of damage, although one client was treated at a nearby hospital for leg and head pain. The salon was scheduled to reopen on Monday.
