Over the weekend the Newport Folk Festival took place and it was the first time the Highwomen performed. The Highwomen consist of Brand Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, and Amanda Shires. But the highlight of the Highwomen performances was the surprise guest Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton performed “Eagle When She Flies”, "9 To 5", "Jolene" with the help of the Highwomen. But only Brandi Carlile joined Dolly Parton for the performance of "I Will Always Love You".
