Five agencies combined to rescue two people from a flipped truck in western palm Beach County.
The pickup truck was on a dirt canal road about five miles west of U.S. 27 just inside Palm Beach from Broward when it flipped upside down, trapping one person inside the vehicle and the other underneath it, while the truck was sinking into the mud.
A PBSO chopper was brought in to transport EMS crews and equipment to assist the victims. The Sheriff's Office needed help from County Fire Rescue, the Broward Sheriff's Office, Fish and Wildlife and the Palm Beach Health Care District.
After what's being called a 'very technical extrication,' firefighters say both victims were flown to a trauma center.
