LAKEWOOD RANCH -- Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger and his partner have sold their home at Lakewood Ranch to a local couple, for around $3.25 million.
Christine Spelman with RE/MAX Alliance Group says Jagger and Melanie Hamrick bought the residence in 2020 for $1.98 million, and put it up for sale in June. Her release says they decided to sell because Hamrick's business ventures and their other homes combined to make it difficult to travel to Florida.
The new owners wish to remain anonymous, but Spelman says they are "accomplished business professionals" who appreciate the home's privacy and the improvements made by Jagger and Hamrick. She says they already have their own plans for the house.
According to Spelman, the 5700-square foot home in the Lake Club gated community includes four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a saltwater pool, three balconies and a bell tower. It is bordered by water on two sides.
