A day after a banner plane went down in South Florida, another small aircraft has crashed one county north.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says two people are dead after a plane went down at a small airport in Lantana.

Deputies arrived at the scene around 11:30 a.m. Friday to find the single-engine Cessna smashed in a grassy area near the runway.

The victims' bodies were inside the plane.

The FAA and NTSB have been notified and will investigate the crash.

Two men were also killed in March after a plane crashed in a field at the Palm Beach County Park Airport.

Meanwhile a pilot is hospitalized after crashing a banner plane yesterday near North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines.
