Top 10 Movies of 2026 (So Far) + Was Live-Action Moana Bad? + Trailer Park: Nimrods

We are now halfway through the year and Mike defines his Top 10 movies of 2026 so far. He shares what made these movies stand out, where you can watch them and what is left that’s coming out that has the ability to make the list. In the Movie Review,  Mike talks about Moana starring the Rock. It’s Disney's live-action version of the animated movie we've all known and love. Moana answers the Ocean's call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her home island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui. Mike shares why he was reluctant to see it but ultimately what this live action remake is actually a good thing! In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about  Nimrods which is a movie based on the early, real-life touring adventures of the punk rock band Green Day. Mike shares the mid-budget music movies it reminds him of and why we don’t get movies like this anymore.

THE UPLOAD: Anne Wilson: Grief, Anxiety & God’s Faithfulness

This week on The Upload with Brooke Taylor, Brooke sits down with Anne Wilson for a powerful conversation about grief, healing, identity, and what it looks like to truly rely on God through life’s hardest moments.

Anne opens up about losing her brother Jacob in 2017, how that tragedy deepened her faith, and why Jesus became her only source of hope in the middle of heartbreak. She also shares about navigating anxiety, depression, counseling, comparison, and the pressures of growing up in the spotlight while building a music career at such a young age.

The two talk about social media’s impact on identity, the importance of community, staying grounded in God’s truth, and Anne’s heart behind her new music and devotional for young women. This episode is a reminder that even in suffering, God can bring purpose, healing, and hope.

If you’re walking through grief, struggling with comparison, or simply needing encouragement to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, this conversation is for you.

Write Your Story: The One Thing AI Shouldn’t Replace

AI isn’t exactly new anymore, but the questions around it are only getting more personal.

As it becomes more woven into our work, creativity, communication, and everyday lives, it’s worth asking: what are we comfortable handing over, and what should remain deeply human?

In this episode, I’m not talking about the usual fears around AI taking creative jobs or writing all future books. I’m interested in something more personal — the part of us we may be tempted to outsource without even realizing it.

AI can be useful, powerful, and even creatively supportive. But there are some things it should never replace. Take a listen and see what you think.

Take a listen and tell me what you think.
